Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead project team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality.
- Develop and ensure Health and Safety system are put in place at work sites and enforce strict compliance to regulations and Company Business Conduct and Ethics Policies.
- Manage financial control and cash flow requirements for operations and projects to ensure within budget and effective cash flow.
- Manage inventories, including equipment and expendable materials, and enforce specification compliance of materials required to run the operations.
- Supervise, monitor and report daily operations and project progress to ensure optimal utilisation of resources, adoption of workplace safety practices and smooth execution of work activities.
- Collaborate and coordinate with clients, consultants, sub-contractors to achieve desired project outcomes and quality operations.
- Manage a team of supervisors and tradesmen including their competency development, disciplinary matters, well-being and welfare.
Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in managing projects
- Able to work with little supervision and lead a team
- Good problem solving and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Able to work under pressure
- Knowledge of workplace safety and practice
- Knowledge of building conservation work, building maintenance and repairs work
- Building conservation, maintenance and repair related certification will be an advantage
- Workplace safety training/certification and experience will be an advantage
