We are seeking an experienced Tech Scrum Master to lead and coordinate our software development team working on Kafka streaming and API Gateway platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in these technologies combined with excellent Agile and Scrum methodologies expertise.
Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, timeline, and deliverables for Kafka streaming and API Gateway initiatives.
- Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
- Coach team members on Agile frameworks and Scrum practices.
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration between development teams and stakeholders.
- Work closely with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
- Guide development teams to higher Scrum maturity and continuous improvement.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
- Collaborate with technical leads to integrate new code into existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Support the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance APIs and streaming solutions.
Skills Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
- 9-12 years of experience in a Scrum Master role
- Experience with cloud and container platforms, preferably Azure, and Tanzu Kubernetes
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design principles
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., GitLab)
- Strong understanding of Kafka, event streaming architectures, and API Gateway technologies
- Strong technical background in software development, particularly in distributed systems
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to challenge business/technical requirements to build good and scalable solutions
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) preferred.
- Additional certifications in Kafka or AWS technologies are a plus.
