Treasury cum Trade Finance Executive

Arrebol Industrial Pte. Ltd.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Treasury Operations Support: Manage tasks such as daily cash management, interest rate fixing, fixed deposit placements, loan rollovers, and the opening/closing of bank accounts, while handling KYC and due diligence processes.

2. Bank Account Administration: open/close bank account, manage banking facilities, update banking signatories etc.

3. Trade Finance Support: Preparation and execution of Sales and Purchase contracts. Prepare and submit documents for Import and Export Letters of Credit (LC) to Banks for issuance. Liaise with Chinese counterparties/bankers for LC negotiation. Deliver accurate trade information for monthly closing to the Accounts department.

4. Trade Operation: Understand international trade, domestic trade, cargo shipment, contract terms, documents, letters of credit and other related knowledge of bulk commodities. Communicate with upstream and downstream personnel to handle various matters during business execution. Track ship dynamics, communicate and operate the company's relationship with ports, shipping agencies and freight forwarders.

5. Administrative: Perform additional duties as assigned.

6. 1-year renewable contract.



Qualifications:

1. Minimum Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury with treasury, financial regulations and compliance requirements.

3. Familiar with online banking operation procedures (onshore and offshore), and having banking work experience background will be an advantage.

4. Familiar with preparation of LC, Import and Export Documentation and Procedures.

5. Well versed in Microsoft applications, Excel and Words.

6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Meticulous, independent, good team spirit, and a high sense of work responsibility

9. Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on the risk/time criticality of the tasks.

10. Proficiency in both English and Chinese will be an advantage.
