Service Engineer – The Hero Behind the Lab Equipment!

At Asia MatteLab, we’re dedicated to providing top-notch scientific equipment and support to researchers across the APAC region. We help brands enter the Singapore market and ensure researchers have the tools they need for breakthroughs. We’re looking for a passionate Service Engineer who loves learning, problem-solving, and making sure lab equipment runs perfectly!

What You'll Do:

  • Learn & Master a variety of laboratory equipment—installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting it like a pro.
  • Diagnose & Fix equipment issues using logical, step-by-step approaches, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to get the best technical support when you need it.
  • Keep Customers Happy by making sure their systems are up and running ASAP and handling repairs with care and urgency.
  • Document & Remember fixes and solutions so future repairs can be done even faster!

  • A fast learner who enjoys understanding how things work and loves hands-on technical work.
  • A logical thinker who enjoys diagnosing and fixing equipment problems.
  • A customer champion who prioritizes minimizing downtime and providing top-notch support.
  • A great communicator who works well with both customers and manufacturers to solve issues quickly.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields), Biomedical Science, or related disciplines.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory or scientific equipment is a bonus, but those who are independent with a passion for learning are welcome.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a logical approach to solving technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and manufacturers effectively.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a passion for ensuring equipment runs smoothly and minimizing downtime.
