Job Overview
Koko Delivery is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Delivery Supervisor / Operations Executive to oversee daily delivery operations, manage our team of drivers, and ensure timely, safe, and accurate deliveries. You will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding our core values of reliability, safety, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the delivery team to ensure punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to company values.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee driver shifts, coordinate with clients for smooth operations, and ensure the readiness of drivers at the start of each day.
- Safety and SOP Enforcement: Ensure all drivers follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs), providing guidance in case of incidents and ensuring proper reporting.
- Driver Management:Create and manage driver schedules.
Handle time-off requests and source freelance drivers during peak delivery times.
Participate in the hiring process for full-time drivers, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Performance Monitoring:Track driver KPIs, including delivery timeliness, customer satisfaction, and any incidents.
Conduct regular evaluations and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
- Training and Development:Train new drivers on tools, protocols, and customer service.
Provide ongoing refresher training sessions to ensure drivers remain updated on policies and safety procedures.
- Compliance and Reporting:Ensure all drivers adhere to company policies and procedures.
Assist in reporting any incidents, such as accidents or customer complaints, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordination and Communication:Daily check-ins with drivers to ensure smooth operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for driver concerns and escalate issues to higher management when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivery operations, logistics, or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with delivery management software, such as Detrack and Elastic, is an advantage.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle tight delivery schedules.
- A strong understanding of safety regulations and customer service.
- Flexibility to manage schedules, including sourcing temporary drivers during peak times.
