Liberte HR is partnered with an international 5-star hotel located in the heart of Orchard Road to source for a Sales Manager for their Rooms Division. The role is responsible with optimizing revenue through effective room reservations, driving sales growth, maximizing business opportunities, and increasing conversion rates.
Scope of Work:
- Securing new business and maintaining relationships with existing accounts.
- Maximizing group room revenue, managing room blocks, and overseeing group attrition.
- Handling negotiations, execution, and final billing for group bookings.
- Identifying revenue gaps and proposing strategies to address shortfalls.
- Understanding client needs through calls, in-person meetings, and other forms of communication, leading to successful sales.
- Efficiently preparing quotes, sending contracts, and following up promptly.
- Conducting hotel tours for prospective clients.
- Managing the hotel reservation system for room and event bookings.
- Communicating client needs to relevant departments promptly and accurately.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, regularly updating customer information, and reporting feedback to the hotel.
- Recommending other properties within the hotel group to clients.
- Sharing market and industry insights with the Sales team to capitalize on business opportunities.
- Staying informed about competitors, including their key clients, services, and promotional strategies, and reporting findings to the Commercial or Sales Director.
- Welcoming VIPs, key clients, and team leaders upon their arrival.
- Facilitating communication between the Sales and Operations teams and assisting with event follow-ups as necessary.
- Addressing guest feedback or complaints.
- Consistently maximizing sales and accurately forecasting revenue for groups and events.
- Supporting the Sales Director or representatives with quotes and contracts as needed.
- Contributing to marketing plan development and collaborating to meet budget goals.
- Leading or attending meetings as required.
- Diligently completing assigned and special tasks.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Hospitality Management or related courses.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a large international hotel chain.
- Demonstrated and proven track record in utilising in local and international market trends to develop and drive sales initiatives to achieve sales targets.
- Good communication, organization and presentation skills.
- Able to work under strong pressure.
- Understand local customers and have strong market analysis ability.
