Key job responsibilities
The Global National Security, Defense, and Law enforcement team is seeking a Senior Sales Leader with demonstrable experience working with national security, defense, and law enforcement mission owners to define, source, and deliver secure accredited solutions that reduce time to achieve mission outcomes.
Responsibilities will include: working with fellow global team members to earn trust with key executives, position AWS as a key mission partner, define next steps and drive business. These next steps may include proof of concept development, participate in creating subject matter expert papers and marketing content, and work with turn-key solution delivery partners to align their respective products and services to meet this customer community's needs. A day in the life
The team is a small group of deep experts in the Global National Security segment that is driven by the mission of our customers. Our objective is to help governments use the cloud for mission to improve safety, security and protection of citizens.
You will bring your voice and experience to a diverse global team bringing deep subject matter expertise and experience delivering secure, accredited commercial cloud services and commercial mission solutions to sensitive but unclassified and classified national security, defense, and national law enforcement, communities of interest, agencies, and mission owners. You will work in a global collaborative environment to learn from and replicate lessons learned, successful cloud transformation initiatives, and key industry partners specific to or readily adapted to meet the unique challenges and opportunities presented to these customers.

Basic qualifications
- 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
Preferred qualifications
- Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
- Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
