Job Description:
This is a full time role for a Technician (Building and Facilities Maintenance) located in Ubi Road. Our clients are in the automotive industry. You will be responsible for maintaining facility systems, including electrical, air-conditioning, compressed air, and chilled-water systems, through routine checks and hands-on repairs. The individual will coordinate with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repairs to ensure the building remains operational. Additionally, they will supervise vendors during renovations to facilitate smooth transitions and ensure quality work. Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness in areas like the AHU and switch rooms, overseeing contractor schedules, and ensuring cost-effective repairs. Basic troubleshooting of telephone lines and other duties as assigned are also part of the job.
Qualifications:
- Minimum NTC education in Facilities / Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services with 2 years of experience in building maintenance and facilities support.
- Certificate in Building Maintenance/Building Inspection will be of an added advantage
- Be able to work under pressure and multi-tasks
- Must be willing to travel to other locations for repair work
