Job Description:
- Lead and manage the finance team in day-to-day operations, including accounts payable & receivable, payroll and financial reporting.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets in alignment with the institution's strategic goals.
- Prepare monthly. quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to the management.
- Conduct financial analysis to support the planning of future academic programs and initiatives.
- Implement and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with heads of departments to forecast and optimise resources.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Manage cash flow and optimise financial operations to support the institution's growth.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the President.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant).
- 5 years of progressive financial management experience, within an international private education setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore's financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Strong business acumen, financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to be operationally hands-on, proactive mindset, and committed to delivering results within stipulated timelines.
