Position Overview:
As a Pre-Sales Technical Engineer at Quanta Integration and Solutions, you will work closely with the sales and engineering teams to support and advise potential customers on how our products and services can meet their needs. You will act as a technical expert during the sales process, demonstrating the value of our solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge who enjoys customer interaction and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Consultation: Advise customers on how to best utilize our vehicle safety and telematics products, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Product Demonstrations: Use technical expertise to demonstrate the features and benefits of our products to prospective clients, showcasing how they outperform competing solutions.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team by providing technical guidance during client meetings, calls, and presentations to ensure the accurate delivery of product information.
- Collaboration with Engineering: Work closely with design, production, and engineering teams to provide customer feedback, help modify existing products, and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Technical Proposals: Develop technical proposals and documents to help customers understand the technical aspects of our offerings.
- Product Customization: Assist in customizing products based on customer feedback, working with the R&D or engineering departments when needed.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitive products to offer customers the best solutions.
- Training and Support: Provide pre-sales technical training to the sales team and technical support to customers as they consider their options.
Qualifications:
- Diploma, or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of vehicle safety solutions, telematics, and electronics systems.
- Hands-on experience with technical product demonstrations and pre-sales engineering is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for customers.
- Experience in customer interaction, including consultation and technical problem-solving.
- Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with both technical and sales teams.
