Cloud Architect

Crayon Pte. Ltd.

The Cloud Architect plays a pivotal role in driving the success of the organization’s AWS solutions and services as the Chief/Global Lead for Cloud Architecture and Services at Crayon. The person would be responsible for overseeing various key initiatives and programs related to AWS technology, presales activities, and collaboration efforts within the organization.


The person should have a can-do attitude, customer centric and creative approach challenging AWS frameworks to help our customers leverage these to grow and improve their businesses. He/She should also ensure visibility with Crayon subsidiaries, demonstrating technical leadership.


The candidate should possess good understanding of current service pipeline and proactively working towards progressing these from a technical and funding perspective. He/She should be curious and be updated on latest trends, translating it into AWS Services opportunities and capable of working between different Crayon subsidiaries and AWS.


Qualifications:

Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Engineering with around 10 years of overall work experience in Information Technology or Management Consulting and a minimum of 3 years work experience as a Cloud Architect.


Key Job Duties:

  • Deploy and configure solutions in the cloud
  • Automate cloud operations, develop infrastructure automation scripts and participates in the continuous improvement of cloud solutions
  • Participate in the specification, setup and run Proof of Concepts and demonstrations of cloud solutions
  • Administer and maintain servers across virtual platforms

Take Ownership of the following Items:

  • Launch Service/Solution Offerings
  • Help obtain AWS Competencies and execute the Program Roadmap
  • Achieve AWS Service Delivery Recognition Milestones
  • Maintain and Update Crayon Group AWS Services
  • Own the various AWS Funded programs such as Migration Acceleration Program, Well Architected Framework Review, Optimization and Licensing Assessment, Proof of Concept, Sandbox Credits and AWS Immersion Days
  • Be the Point of Contact for local/Subsidiary Solution Architects
  • Be the AWS Technical Liaison to Global Services
  • Actively own the Technical and Services Community Calls, News, Open-office etc.

  • Migration Acceleration program Launches
  • AWS Case Studies
  • Certifications Headcount Globally
  • AWS Technical training roadmap
  • Customer meetings to present the core AWS Services
  • Funding Portal Fund Requests and Claims
  • Statement of Work Creation for Funded AWS Programs
