Responsibilities
- Manage the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services to ensure the best value for money, quality, services and timely delivery, in the most efficient and effective way
- Coordinate with the site operation team in construction stage
- Actively identify potential new sources of supply in order to create opportunities for the best value
- Source and establish network with capable and competitive manufacturers and suppliers
- Initiate and recommend new suppliers, manage suppliers relationship and evaluate suppliers performance
- Verify purchase orders, invoices and prepare reports for review
- Issue purchase orders and liaise with suppliers on orders and delivery schedules
- Execute material requisition process in accordance with the established procedures
- Perform general administrative and data entry duties
Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position in the construction industry is preferred
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in Enterprises Resources Planning (ERP) software will have an added advantage
- Meticulous, eye for details and a good team player
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
