This role delivers the HR Value Proposition, in support of the People Strategy, through the efficient and efficacious functioning of HR processes. This includes staff attraction, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, learning and development, staff development review process and HRIS.
The incumbent interfaces with internal customers (staff, supervisors and management) and external customers (church members). As part of the HR Department, this role embodies the values of and sets an example for staff. In view of the confidentiality nature of the work involved, incumbent is required to demonstrate high levels of integrity and professional conduct.
Job Responsibilities:
• Contribute to building a collaborative and relational culture post-pandemic with flexible and hybrid way of work.
• Implement staff attraction and recruitment processes to meet staffing needs and build pipeline. Manage vendors, contractors, polytechnic or university interns.
• Support in staffing matters, including recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, contract renewals, transfers, retirement and re-employment, and offboarding matters.
• Manage the monthly payroll process, annualstaff income tax submission, government-related claims submissions and tax matters with external vendor.
• Handle benefits administration relating to leave, claims, medical, insurances, etc.
• Support the implementation of the staff development review process annually. Coach supervisors and staff on SDR-related processes and conversations when needed.
• Implement learning & development journeys, programs and processes to support staff and organisational growth.
• Manage and update the HR system, ensuring accuracy and data integrity. Familiar with online HR processes implementation via the system, in consultation with external vendor.
• Support in HR projects, including staff well-being and digital-related continuous improvement projects.
• Manage Sharepoint HR site administration in consultation with IT. Ensure HR information are updated regularly to facilitate staff communication.
• Act as a point of contact and provide support to staff on HR matters and queries.
• Seek continuous improvement in HR processes for efficacy.
• Organise company-wide staff events.
• Support in HR Administration whenever needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including HR systems is required.
• People-oriented with strong interpersonal skills to interact across all levels of staff.
• Strong detail-oriented, problem-solving and resourceful mindset.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Singapore local employment laws, IRAS and CPF Act is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including MS Teams, Zoom and Canva.
• The candidate must be a Christian and willing to work in Church.
