Description
- Arranges necessary facilities and instruments for jobs such as meters, test kits, temporary preparations, shore generators, and load banks. Performs testing and commissioning activities and ensures that proper documentation is approved and signed. Supervises and deploys manpower to execute the operational tasks. Ensures that electrical equipment and switchboards meet the purchase specifications, and arranges for protection and maintenance of the electrical system.
- Reviews commissioning work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Liaises with owners, class surveyors, and government bodies pertaining to project requirements. Coordinates the testing and commissioning requirements with Engineering, Project Manager, QA Department, and vendors. Plans and schedules the testing and commissioning requirements based on project basis, and organizes all logistics requirements for major operations. Performs any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Disciplines.
- Min. 4 years of related work experience working on FPSOs. Possess working experience related to testing of LV/MV Switchboards, power generators, DCS/ICSS interface for PMS system. Capable of testing and calibration of Electrical switchboard and its components, troubleshooting, and clear understanding of system specification and class requirements. Familiar with the testing procedures and applicable rules and regulations of regulatory bodies.
