Job Description:
- Stock and sort supplies
- Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries
- Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards
- Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets) as required
- To maintain the highest standard of room and public area cleanliness and appearance, guest service
- To be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness in the Housekeeping Department and Public Area cleaning.
- To make up beds and conduct room tidiness inspection
- To maximize cost-effectiveness whilst maintaining the highest possible level of service to the guests of the Hotel and the highest level of productivity.
- To handle and resolve all guest queries and complaints in an efficient manner and to establish an amicable relationship with all clients, customers and guests of the Hotel.
- Clean fridge in every check-out rooms and lock rooms.
- Ensure that rubbish bags are removed from rooms to service lift lobby for disposal.
- Perform other duƟes that assigned by company
Job Requirements:
- Minimum N levels. O levels or Nitec in Hospitality.
- Previous experience in hotels, hostels and co-living businesses would be relevant.
- Prior experience (1 to 2 years) in the same role or similar job function preferred.
- Pleasant with a cheerful disposition.
- Service-oriented and comfortable with guest-facing roles.
- Positive attitude with keen interest to learn.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willing to work on rotational shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
