Our client is looking for a strong cloud IT professional with solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation using pipelines and scripted functional aps to manage , deploy and support their cloud environment.
Implementation and Maintenance
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure .
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and cloud security.
- Implement and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Design and Architecture
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architecture on Linux and Azure.
- Develop cloud solutions to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
Security and Compliance
- Ensure the security of the cloud environment by implementing and maintaining robust security measures and compliance standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits with native and 3rd party tools.
Automation and Optimization
- Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
- Optimize cloud resources to reduce costs while maintaining performance and reliability.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure the health of cloud environments.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for cloud-based applications and services.
REQUIREMENTS / KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Infrastructure as code deployment experience onto Kubernetes
- Provisioning using Infrastructure as code utilising Terraform
- Strong Experience with Linux and Azure
- Experience with DevOps, containerization, and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and networking (Secure Cloud Access).
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Strong attention to detail.
