In this role as Data Architect Lead, you will be working alongside Data Engineers, stakeholders such as product managers, team leads, and senior management to empower the client technical data platform department of our client with actionable data and platform capabilities.
You will be integral in the design and implementation of reliable, performant and scale-able data platform and engineering solutions. In addition, you will lead a team that looks after the daily data platform operations and its efficiency.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- At least 7 years of experience in Data Platform Architect or Data Engineering Lead related roles
- At least 5 years of experience in Microstrategy operations (Infrastructure / Business) - requiements gathering to customer reporting sessions
- Strong education background with degrees in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems (preferred)
- knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or other platform
- Strong working and architecture knowledge of ETL and related tooling; Informatica, penthao and natively with AWS
- Working proficiency in SQL and familiarity with at least one of the programming language (e.g., Python, Scala)
- Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets
- Strong working knowledge of AWS specific Data Engineering and Data Science solutions (Redshift, Glue, SageMaker)
