The role provides the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of the private equity industry, secondary market dynamics and the nuances in running sell-side advisory mandates.
Campbell Lutyens' market leading deal-flow will provide the opportunity to work on landmark projects with leading private capital firms and global institutions.
Involvement throughout origination and execution processes including but not limited to:
- Portfolio analysis
- Returns modelling
- Marketing materials preparation
- Data room management
- Interaction with potential investors and private equity managers
- Bids analysis and preparation of presentations for clients
Candidate profile
- Strong academic background
- Investment banking, secondaries advisory or other alternative investment experience would be beneficial but not required
- Familiarity with corporate finance fundamentals
- Well-developed Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Strong relationship management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable dealing with people at all levels and able to provide effective and proactive support across business teams and geographic locations
- Highly organised and efficient, able to multitask and prioritise own workload
- Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines as required
- Delivers to a very high quality with strong attention to detail
- Team player with a high level of integrity, a positive “can-do” attitude and an eagerness to learn
- Candidate would be expected to complete FCA qualifications shortly after arrival (if not already regulated / passed relevant regulatory exams)
