The Sales Director will lead the sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and expand market share for IPS Securex Pte Ltd and Securex GS Pte Ltd across the Asia-Pacific region. This role involves overseeing the sales team, establishing strong customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in line with the company's growth objectives. The Sales Director will work closely with the leadership team to align sales strategies with company goals and drive overall business performance across multiple markets. Specialization in security systems and homeland sales, along with established contacts with M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Consultants, will be essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Sales Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business growth across the region, with a focus on security systems, public address system and homeland sales.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in security and homeland sectors to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Drive the development of new business opportunities, expanding the company’s presence across the Asia-Pacific, with an emphasis on high-value security projects.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the existing sales team, setting performance targets and providing guidance to achieve them.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback and training to enhance team skills, especially in security systems, public address system and homeland sales.
- Ensure team alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and support cross-functional collaboration.
Revenue and Pipeline Management:
- Monitor and report on regional sales performance, including forecasting, pipeline management, and closing sales.
- Implement sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness across different markets, particularly in the security systems, public address system and homeland sector.
- Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans to optimize results in each region.
Customer and Consultant Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders across the region.
- Leverage existing contacts with M&E Consultants to gain project insights, influence specifications, and drive business growth in security systems, public address system and homeland projects.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues to maintain positive customer experiences across all markets.
Regional Market Expansion and New Business Development:
- Explore opportunities for market growth in new countries or sectors within the region.
- Focus on securing projects related to security systems, surveillance, access control, extra low voltage and homeland security.
- Collaborate with marketing to products and solutions, driving regional brand awareness.
- Evaluate potential partnerships and strategic alliances that could contribute to revenue growth in the security and homeland markets.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor spending and adjust strategies to maximize return on investment across the region.
- Work closely with other departments to align sales activities with financial and operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Possess a degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a regional or multi-country environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in building and developing high-performing, regionally dispersed teams.
- Specialization in security systems and homeland sales, with a thorough understanding of the industry's requirements and trends.
- Established contacts with M&E Consultants, with a proven ability to leverage these relationships for business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Regional experience in the Asia-Pacific market is required.
