We are looking for a Key Accountant for a permanent position to grow our office in Singapore.
· Prepare and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recoded
· Handling full sets of accountings for a Mexican entity
· Manage account receivables and issue invoices
· Manage account payables and perform reconciliation
· Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statement and other financial statements according to the legal and group accounting and financial guidelines
· Assist with reviewing of employees’ expense, payroll records, etc, as assigned
· Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
· Prepare and submit weekly/monthly report
· Assist about annual financial audit with external auditors and other local statutory reporting (e.g. Mexican VAT, withholding tax and corporate income tax etc)
· assist and communicate with local colleagues in Mexico about accounting duties in Spanish language
· Supervise and monitor junior team members to perform their jobs and to ensure the quality of works
Job requirements:
· A master’s degree in accounting with a proven relevant experience of minimum 5 years of as an accountant;
· A very good understanding of Mexican accounting regulatory (Mexican GAAP) and IFRS
· Excellent organizing abilities and communication skills
· Good multicultural and international relationship skills
· Great attention to detail, with an analytical acumen
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with the computer software (e.g. SAGE, Kyriba, SAP Concur, Doclink, SIS-ID)
· Fluent in English and Spanish is essential (this role is required to interact with native Spanish stakeholders)
