Job Description

  • Responsible for overall major key account
  • Be accountable for the business and operation to provide Leadership and Decision-making to the Control Tower, procurement and transport operations teams
  • Manage the integration & implementation of new structures developed in operations
  • Manage resources including tackling staff performance issues and identification of training needs, reviewing productivity and local recruitment.
  • Ensure that all transport is carried out within predetermined cost and security standards
  • Identify, lead, drive and monitor process improvement activities.
  • To be responsible for the technical delivery of the solution design and modelling of all actual and potential business solutions.
  • Assist the Control Tower team with the preparation of customer presentations, project submissions, response to invitation to tender documents and any other process towards the delivery and implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • To be a major contributor to the development of new structures and methodologies within the primary supply chain.
  • Building a strong partnership with vendors (such as carriers, feeder operator) and ensure they deliver the best service level to customer.
  • Closely communicate with DGF network at destination and ensure they deliver the best service to customer
  • Bring an overall view on transport within the customers organization in order to identify further savings attributable to optimization
  • Ensure Operational Savings are delivered and Service Levels and Customer Satisfaction are delivered for LLP customers
  • Responsible to manage the procurement activities for shipping lines and barge operators
  • Commercial ownership of the key account at the country level


Job Requirements

  • 12 years shipping operations and customer service handling key customers
  • 4 years managing a large team (> 10)
  • At least diploma education
