It also operates warehousing and container depot businesses in Malaysia.


Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Customer Service Executive at Cogent Automotive Logistics. The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as processing shipping documentation, providing customer service to clients and ensuring smooth operations throughout the automotive logistics process.

  1. Ensure fulfillment of customers’ order
  2. Ensure deficiencies such as customers’ complaints are resolved on time and proper corrective and preventive actions are taken
  3. Identify problems and deficiencies in the services/products provided by the company
  4. Prepare invoice timely and accurately based on company policies
  5. Prepare import/export documents
  6. Raise reports on non-conforming services/events and recommend appropriate disposition actions for management approval before activating such actions
  7. Identify safety hazards in operational areas and proactively eliminate any risks
  8. Ensure staff work safely in a safe workplace
  9. Integrate safety into daily work activities
  10. Adhere to statutory / company’s safety and health policies, procedures and regulations
  11. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time


Requirements

  1. Diploma or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service/ shipping documentation role in a 3PL company.
  3. Strong knowledge of automotive logistics operations, and customs clearance procedures in Singapore.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  5. Experience with TradeNet is a plus.
  6. Required to work alternate Saturday half-days
