Job Description:
1.Deploying software, creating user groups and operating system policies across the entire IT enviroment.
2.Installing, configuring and maintaining software, hardware, network and application components of the IT system.
3.Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware and networking issues.
4. Ensuring proper and secure storage, backup and retrieval of data.
5. Replacing and upgrading outdated or defective components.
6. Identifying and implementing new strategies for optimal computer system operations.
7. Enforcing security best practices to prevent cyber attacks and security breaches.
8. Documenting internal processes for achieving optimal performance of computer systems .
9.Responsible for managing multiple VM hosts that contain around hundreds servers each. 10.Building,designing and managing VM infrastructure, MS Servers, MySQL and Linux servers.
10. Proactively monitor and manage the servers and VM infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and all patches are up to date.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years IT system Admin experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operation systems.Experience with Cisco IP Phones.X
- Experience in database maintenance is preferred.
- Solid experience in supporting a VMware environment with high availability
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Might need to be on-call for off hours support.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, MCSE, CCNA) a plus.
