Assistant Project Manager

Hao Hong Construction Pte. Ltd.

  • Assists in planning, organizing and carrying out project management activities to ensure that assigned projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner to achieve and exceed the cost, quality, timelines and customer satisfaction objectives;
  • Assists to ensure that safety procedures are incorporated in all project management activities and takes initiatives to promote a safety working culture;
  • Understands contract documentation in conjunction with B.Q. and material specifications;
  • Assists in planning for site mobilization and work sequential execution;
  • Assists in preparing works schedules and master programs;
  • Assists in monitoring project cost budgets and ensuring that desired profit margins are achieved through cost containment, material wastage control, etc;
  • Assists in ensuring project performance through close supervision, site checks, close monitoring of site progress and swift resolution of any quality and work schedule issues;
  • Assists in ensuring that shop drawings are completed and submissions to the authorities are carried out in a timely manner with Drafting Department;
  • Assists in conducting daily meetings with project team members and ensuring that latest changes are communicated to all project staff;
  • Attends project kick-off meetings, ongoing meetings and project closure meetings with clients, consultants and other parties;
  • Assists in conducting Mass Tool Box meeting with Safety personnel;
  • Assists in tracking project performance closely to ensure that projects perform according to agreed schedule, quality and costs;
  • Assists in ensuring effective compliance of contractual terms and the full and final settlement of project accounts;
  • Assists in updating project development performance in monthly management meetings;
  • Assists in ensuring that risk management is taken into account in all project management activities;
  • Liaises with suppliers and sub-contractors on contractual matters;
  • Assists in responding to consultants’ and requests from others in a pro-active and timely manner;
  • Assists in the supervision and motivation of project team members and in promoting teamwork;
  • Assists in the deployment of resources and maintenance of duty rosters;
  • Liaises with relevant stakeholders effectively to execute the projects in a seamless manner and mitigates any issues that arise;
  • Assists in ensuring the execution of projects in accordance with established procedures;
  • Assists in ensuring that progress and other reports are prepared in a timely manner as required;
  • Assists in project documentation including email communication;
  • Assists in verifying sub-contractor claims and material orders with Quantity Surveyors;
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.
