Job Description:
SRS is currently seeking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and capable analyst to join one of its most prestigious contracts in Singapore and work in a high-performance environment that is fast-paced, and dynamic. The analyst role will require to identify and assess risks that have the potential to impact business operations. These conditions include but are not limited to geopolitical and security analysis and risk assessments. The candidate will be directly reporting to the Senior Intelligence Manager.
Applicants to this role will require to deliver timely and actionable written intelligence reports and verbal briefings, which would provide strategic insights on different geopolitical topics and assess the impact on the client’s assets, people and reputation. Successful candidate should have ability to research and analyze a wide range of information and create tailored analysis in accordance with strict deadlines, including presenting and incorporating relevant data and visualizations.
The candidate will engage directly with clients to provide immediate support and consulting. This requires emotional intelligence, creative thinking, maturity, and judgement in order successfully to interpret client requests and provide insightful information. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, research, and create a range of risk assessments/situational updates/analytical reports delivering actionable insight; conduct analysis of political, security, operational, and macro-economic risk across APAC
- Display creative thinking and consulting skills to deliver on-call intelligence assessments tailored to the region
- Actively threat hunt for risk events that could potentially impact the Company’s people, assets and reputation at operational/strategic level
- Be an effective member of a small team, focused on delivery of lean, high-impact services
Qualifications:
- Degree in Political Science/ International Relations/ Strategic Studies/ Security Studies, or related major
- Strong regional expertise with a deep understanding of geopolitical and security dynamics
- Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in data manipulation and visualization techniques
- Proficiency in open-source intelligence gathering, analysis, and research
- Exceptional research abilities with a capacity to quickly assimilate, evaluate, and distill large volumes of information
- Capable of working effectively both independently and within team settings
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite and related tools
- Receptive to feedback and able to implement constructive suggestions
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with a focus on prioritizing time-sensitive tasks
- Foreign language proficiency is an added advantage
