Role Summary:
Temus is on a Journey to drive transformation across both the public and private sectors in Singapore and the broader region. Our holistic approach, which looks beyond the use of technology and covers all aspects of people, processes, change management, and policy, is critical to driving successful transformation outcomes.
This role will be part of the Low Code Practice under Technology group within Temus, along with other practices like application transformation and modernization, enterprise architecture, value assurance and products & solutions.
We are looking for a passionate and talented senior software engineer to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to understand requirements well and develop software independently. You may also be required to provide guidance to software engineers in the same team.
Responsibilities
- Understand good architectural principles and be able to apply them
- Develop web and mobile applications following development best practices, ensuring solution performance and user adoption
- Finish all assigned tasks with quality within the defined timebox
- Conducts unit testing and integration testing, executes the necessary bug fixing
- Understand technology areas beyond application development to propose robust solutions (e.g. hardware, network, integrating to third party software)
Requirements
- Proficient in .NET or Java, and database modelling and SQL
- Proficient in front-end web technologies like JavaScript, CSS
- Willing to pick up new technologies quickly and independently
- Possess at least 3 years of related experience
