Objectives:
Implement projects to genetically modify microorganisms, includingimprovements to existing Company mutants as well as generating new product prototypes;
- Perform research duties including molecular cloning, microbial genetic manipulation, high-throughput protein expression screening, mammalian cell experiments, and activity assays of recombinant products;
- Perform laboratory duties, including culture vessel cleaning, pipette tip preparation, documentation, inventory, ordering, etc;
- Participate in project management;
- Perform in silico genetic construct and protein design;
- Perform literature research;
- Mentor interns.
Requirements:
Essential is experience with molecular cloning, E coli genetic modification, PCR.
