Job Description:
- Lead the management of accounts to exceed sales targets in the Singapore market. Build and maintain strong relationships with Distribution Partners to ensure a consistent flow of orders and foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular visits with existing clients to assess satisfaction levels, introduce new product features, and anticipate future needs. Your efforts will reinforce our reputation as a trusted supplier and solution provider.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive outreach program aimed at tapping into new customer segments, specifically targeting consultants and electrical contractors for high-value projects. Focus on expanding our market presence and capturing lucrative opportunities.
- Utilize your technical expertise to prepare accurate quotations tailored to customer requirements. Your recommendations will align with the best product offerings, demonstrating our commitment to delivering optimal solutions.
- Provide dedicated support to our distributors through client visits, event participation, and prompt resolution of technical inquiries. Encourage collaboration within the team and share valuable market insights to enhance collective success.
- Gather relevant information on market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitor activities within your territory. Regularly report on key sales activities, project progress, and emerging opportunities to inform decision-making.
- Achieve personal performance targets as well as overall sales goals outlined in budget forecasts.
- Additional Responsibilities (Ad Hoc):
- Technical Support: Provide timely technical assistance to customers via phone, email, or site visits, ensuring effective resolution of queries and issues.
- Product Training: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers on the features and functionalities of our products, empowering them to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Over 3 years of experience in an international sales role.
- Strong communication skills, customer-service oriented, target-driven, proactive, and skilled in presentations.
- Ability to sell based on customer needs, meet sales goals, plan sales strategies, and provide technical support. Experience in the energy and/or automation industry is preferred, along with relevant market knowledge and budget development skills. Must be able to report accurately and have proficiency in PC and MS Office.
- Knowledge of the power generation market is essential; familiarity with gen-set and combustion engine controls and protection relay markets is a plus.
