Finance and HR Executive

About the Job

Reporting to the Group CEO, you will be responsible for managing the finance activities of their F&B operations. You will be comfortable being hands-on with transactional finance work, ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing activities. In this dual role, you will also be responsible for general HR administration besides assisting with financial operations.


Job Responsibilities


Finance

  • Manage financial data entry and accounting tasks, including AR, AP, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare scheduled accounting schedules, management accounts, financial statements, month/year-end reporting
  • Optimise management of cash flows, perform monthly vendor payment/customer billing, payment arrangements
  • Handle all regulatory submissions including GST returns.
  • Prepare and submit quotations and invoices for relevant projects
  • Ensure all accounting records are kept up-to-date and maintained promptly and accurately
  • Liaise with the external auditor and tax agent

HR & Administration

  • Manage monthly payroll, claims processes, incentives and benefits administration for employees
  • Prepare and perform CPF submission, AIS filing, annual IR8A submission and IR21 submission for foreign workers, and other HR submissions
  • Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding process for employees
  • Process Work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Coordinate with insurance agents with regards to renewal, cancellation, and new insurance coverage plans
  • Support any office administration and any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management

Experience / Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance and HR roles
  • Possess at least a Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent
  • Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations
  • Proficient in MS Office, payroll software
  • A good team player and able to multi-task effectively with minimum supervision
  • Able to work independently and have an eye for detail
  • Strong sense of integrity and accountability
  • Ablility to commence work immediately will be an advantage
