Key Responsibilities:
· Design non-functional test (NFT) plans for key releases and projects with the Business Analysts;
· Provide effort estimates to test and release planning activities;
· Design performance regression scope for BAU releases and functional performance tests for new performance improvement changes;
· Use Confluence to document the test scope;
· Identify the correct environment set-up and document it as part of the test plan;
· Perform test execution using existing custom performance and load measurement tools;
· Raise performance defects and work closely with the teams for defect resolution to tune performance;
· Prepare test reports and provide sign-offs for each NFT exit;
· Use existing custom tools for NFT;
· Work closely with the DevOps team for the creation of new tools or enhancements to the NFT toolkit;
· Able to troubleshoot errors in tool usage before logging defects for the DevOps team;
· Report to the Release and QA Manager.
Technical Skills
· A minimum of eight years of experience in NFT;
· Understanding how IIS hosted web services applications work;
· Familiar with assessing load and stress on a SQL server database;
· Knowledge of basic networking, messaging, web services and databases;
· Good with Power BI, Excel or relevant data analytics platform;
· Knowledge or hands-on experience in automated regression testing and performance testing;
· Good to have:
o Experience in commodity trading or banking domain;
o Certification of ISTQB Foundation Level.
