Key Responsibilities:
- Market Development and Strategy:Identify and analyze new business opportunities in international markets and develop strategies to penetrate them. Conduct market research to understand trends, competition, and customer preferences in various regions.
Establish sales objectives, forecasting, and action plans to achieve sales targets in export markets.
- Client Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and business partners. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with clients, ensuring mutual benefit and compliance with company policies.
- Sales Operations:Develop and execute export sales plans, including product distribution, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to manage shipments, export documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize results.
- Team Collaboration:Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials for international markets.
Work closely with the finance department to manage budgets, set prices, and track international payment processes.
Support and train sales staff or distributors in different regions to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and export control laws.
Keep updated on changes in export laws, tariffs, and trade policies that may impact business operations.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in sales, with a focus on export or international markets. Previous experience in a similar role within the industry is preferred.
- Skills:Strong understanding of international trade and export procedures.
