Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist Engineers and Technical Officers in the maintenance work
- Liaise with immediate Supervisor in any high risks work to be carried out.
- Maintain good Housekeeping at end of work completion.
- Carry out repair and rectification of equipment failure and malfunction.
- Test and recommissioning of rectified system or equipment
- Carry out instrument preventive maintenance and servicing & instrument emergency on call servicing and troubleshooting.
- Conduct instrument on-line calibration and checking.
- Control valve overhaul, servicing and calibration.
- Conduct / implement work permit system on site.
- Conduct function check of instrument loop (analog and digital signal)
- Troubleshoot and solve problems of instruments and advise on the proper repair.
- Understand flow and loop diagrams, installation diagram and specifications for installation of all type of field instruments.
- Run conduits, pull wiring, terminal wiring and functional check.
- Perform plant pre-commissioning and commission.
- Monitor and supervise third party maintenance and servicing activities as required.
- Maintain detailed work reports, spreadsheets, graphs, plots on computer-based software
- Ensure all documentation and procedures are up to date and adhered to.
- Check and prepare instrument calibration reports
- Carry out the overhaul, inspection, calibration, servicing program during plant scheduled outage.
Requirements
- ITC/diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation
- Preferably possesses 2 years of experience in Power Plant or Oil and Gas industry
- Working knowledge of P&ID drawing, loop diagram, hookup drawings, logic diagrams and single line diagram
- Good functional knowledge and experience in the maintenance of Process Equipment and Instrumentations
- Ability to work independently at customer's, site.
- Good technical competence
