Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Northbrooks Secondary School, 585 Yishun Ring Road, Singapore 768692
Contract Period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025

Working Hours:

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break)
  • Fridays: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break)
  • Note: Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

Scope of Services:

The Receptionist will be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Customer Service: Manage telephone calls and address walk-in queries from students and parents.
  2. Mail/Email Management: Handle the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail/email.
  3. Administrative Support: Assist in data entry, data collation, goods receiving, and printing of certificates.
  4. Provide manpower support during ad-hoc school activities.
  5. Filing and Document Management: Organize and maintain documents and materials, and distribute them to teachers and students.
  6. Student Welfare: Attend to students who are unwell, latecomers, or require early dismissal.
  7. First Aid: Administer basic first aid to students.
  8. Financial Assistance & Bursary Applications: Receive and verify documents related to the Financial Assistance Scheme and Bursary applications.
  9. Other Administrative Duties: Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by School Leaders and the Administration Manager.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

  • GCE ‘O’ Level or relevant Office Skills Certificate or its equivalent.
  • Preferably with relevant experience in a secondary school environment.
  • Customer service-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with the use of IT systems.
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
