Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Bedok Green Primary School, 1 Bedok South Ave 2, Singapore 469317
Contract Period: 1 March 2025 – 28 February 2026
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
- Note: Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Scope of Services:
The Receptionist will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Front desk duties: Answering phone calls and addressing walk-in enquiries from students, parents, and vendors.
- Attending to injured students and providing basic assistance.
- Performing administrative tasks such as filing, counting, distributing flyers, and data entry using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word).
- Maintaining composure and working efficiently under pressure, especially during busy periods at the front desk.
- Attending to staff enquiries and requests.
- Handling any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:
- Passed “N” levels (or equivalent).
- Proficient in communicating in English and enjoy interacting with children.
- 3 years of working experience in school administration.
- Ability to use Microsoft applications (Excel, Word).
- Able to interact and work well with all staff, students, and parents.
- Ability to stay calm and effective under stress, particularly during peak periods at the front desk.
