ob Title: Receptionist
Location: Punggol Secondary School, 51 Edgefield Plains, Singapore 828870
Contract Period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (inclusive of a ½-hour lunch break)
- Note: Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Scope of Services:
The Receptionist will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Managing the school’s reception counter and handling all enquiries (phone, email, in-person).
- Assisting with administrative work such as data entry and key issuance.
- Maintaining the school photocopier and other office equipment.
- Handling Secondary 1 registration and other related tasks.
- Managing the general office pantry (restocking, cleanliness).
- Managing student transfers and relevant documentation.
- Maintaining stock of school stationery (e.g., A4 papers, pens, markers).
- Managing the school’s email system.
- Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Principal, Vice-Principals, Administrative Manager, teachers, and other co-workers.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:
- At least a GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent certificate.
- At least 3 years of work experience in a secondary school in the areas of reception and general administrative duties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in managing email platforms (Outlook/Gmail).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a school environment.
