Position Title: Retail/ Sales Associate
Location: Jurong Point
Reports To: Store Manager
Job Summary:
As a Retail Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting customers, managing store operations, and contributing to the store’s overall success. Your role will involve a combination of customer interaction, inventory management, and maintaining the store’s visual standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers, addressing their needs, and offering product recommendations. Ensure a positive shopping experience and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly.
- Sales Support: Assist customers with product selection, fitting room support, and checkout processes. Promote and upsell store products and services to enhance sales.
- Store Operations: Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including arranging merchandise, managing inventory, and ensuring that shelves and displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Inventory Management: Participate in stock replenishment, inventory checks, and accurate recording of merchandise. Report any discrepancies or issues with stock to the Store Manager.
- Visual Merchandising: Support visual merchandising efforts by setting up displays according to store guidelines and maintaining a neat and attractive store layout.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives. Assist with training new staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous retail experience preferred, but not required. Customer service experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
- Attributes: Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as required.
