Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Public Relations & Marketing Specialist to manage event planning and execution while promoting our brand. He/ she require possess knowledge of AI and design software, ensuring our communications are visually compelling and strategically sound.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic communications plan to enhance brand identity, increase awareness of our values, and elevate the visibility of our restaurant group.
- Elevate the profile of our restaurants, expanding membership and boosting sales.
- Maintain a database of media contacts to facilitate outreach and engagement.
- Create and implement a public relations and marketing strategy to build and nurture relationships with key external audiences, including media and influencers.
- Secure frequent and positive media coverage across various platforms.
- Identify challenges and emerging issues, translating complex technical and business concepts into clear, effective communication. Collaborate with trustees and staff to recognize opportunities and devise strategies.
- Oversee the creation of print communications, including the annual marketing report and promotional materials, while managing relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Collaborate with the Website Manager to enhance the effectiveness of electronic communications and leverage new media.
- Work alongside the Membership Manager and Website Manager to develop an annual marketing plan.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson for communications with trustees and the media, shaping narratives that promote the organization.
- Prioritize media opportunities and prepare supporting materials such as talking points, speeches, and presentations.
- Actively cultivate and manage press relationships to ensure coverage for programs, special events, public announcements, and fundraising initiatives.
- Design marketing materials to support public relations efforts for our restaurants.
- Oversee daily communications activities, including budgeting and team collaboration.
- Foster a high-performance culture that values learning, continuous improvement, and commitment to quality.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years experience in a digital marketing role
- Strong organizational and planning skills with a focus on event management
- Good knowledge of Adobe and Photoshop apps
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to create innovative content on social media platforms (FB, IG, TikTok, Reels, etc.)
- Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts that enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
