- Provide ocean market insights and advice to support the sales team
- Ensure effective communication with internal and external partners
- Focus on and contribute to the growth of Trade Lanes
- Track and analyze pricing trends across the Asia region
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple carriers
- Negotiate ocean freight rates for Intra-Asia and global trade lanes, specifically for LG/LX group and MNC accounts, coordinating with ocean carriers' HQ, RHQ, and local offices
- Handle any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean freight within the international freight forwarding, 3PL, or ocean container liner industry
- Strong negotiation skills to achieve competitive pricing
- Proven experience managing ocean freight products, particularly in the Asia-Europe, Mediterranean, and Africa trade lanes
- Ability to analyze market data and trends related to ocean liners
