Responsibilities
- To provide IT service support and assist lecturers, in the preparation and delivery of full-time and part-time academic modules
- software and hardware setup and testing of practical lessons, troubleshooting and any other ad-hoc duties during and after office hours in the laboratories.
- Managing and monitoring both physical and virtual systems and infrastructure.
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tool, ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Requirements
- Experience in Management of Data Centre and Virtualization of servers.
- Experience in configuration and implementation on various Operating Systems.
- Skills in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues in a lab environment.
- Ability to set up, configure, and maintain IT related lab environments, including installation of tools, operating systems, and devices.
- Management of Network services operating in Windows Active Directory environment.
- Ability to utilise industry tool on any modern DevOps and Infrastructure for administration and automation needed on Cloud platform.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as vulnerability scanners, endpoint security tools and penetration testing tools
- Good knowledge of DevOps and cloud technologies; and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructural services.
- ITIL-based Helpdesk services operation.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, VMware, Microsoft Azure / AWS, GitHub/GitLab, Docker, UiPath, Tableau, and Palo Alto will be advantageous.
- BizSafe Level 2 Certifications.
- Occupational First Aider.
