HR Executive

Jobsmith Consultants Pte. Ltd.

Our client is a Singapore based Power Producer and they are setting up a new office. The candidate would fulfil the functions of an HR executive and would support the accounts function initially, such as payroll and AP/AR functions.


Main responsibilities:


  • Maintain and upkeep employee records in HR Management System, and Personnel File .
  • Responsible for statutory payment submission and claims - CPF, IR21, IR8A, NS claims, Government- Paid Leave ,training grant etc. submission.
  • Participate in MOM surveys.
  • Prepare all employment-related letters including employment contracts, confirmation letters, resignation acceptance letters, off-boarding procedures etc.
  • Manage work passes renewal, applications, cancellation and levy waiver requests.
  • Liaising with dormitory vendors on booking of units for work permit holders.
  • Manage the medical insurance, claims, work injury records if any and others that are relevant.
  • Onboarding and off-boarding process
  • Attend to employees’ queries on various HR related matters.
  • Visa application.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting, conduct interview and collaborate with hiring managers to onboarding.
  • Prepare monthly payroll, ensuring accurate payments and proper deduction of statutory contributions (e.g., CPF, SDF).
  • Monthly bank reconciliation to ensure book balance aligns with the bank statement.
  • Assist in month-end closing and prepare balance sheet accounts.
  • Handling AR/AP and follow up.
  • Liaise with banks on payment and receipts matters.
  • Handle training & development e.g courses planning, records update, and registration of courses
  • Company vehicle insurance, road tax renewals and any other documents renewals or applications.
  • Other administrative duties as and when required

Requirement:

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in both HR and accounting roles
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, payroll management, and HR functions.
  • Good knowledge in Singapore Employment Act and Singapore Labour laws.
  • Must have good english speaking skills to communicate with clients and employees
