The incumbent will provide data management and executive support to the overall research agenda of PPIS. He/She will be involve in data collection (qualitative and quantitative), mining, transformation, validating and analysis from multiple sources for the purposes of mapping areas of growth in research and evidence based practices, evaluation and data storytelling. He/She will need to be familiar in the areas of social and family services and be expected to be familiar in writing and presentation of reports and research papers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, collect, process, analyse and interpret primary and secondary data for organisational sensemaking
- Identify and document appropriate tools and method for data collection.
- Identify and analyse appropriate data sources, tools and techniques for data interpretation,analysis and results
- Identify appropriate research approaches, surveys and FGDs as needed.
- Conduct landscape study and analysis in line with PPIS area of interests largely in the field of Family Services, women and children
- Develop and roll out research proposals that would enhance PPIS thought leadership and mission
- Evaluate and track impact of research projects and programmes
- Prepare and present research and evaluation report
- Drive innovation to improve quality of research project and programmes
- Provide administrative and program support for various initiatives, including but not limited to the Professional Development Series and Practice Circle. This includes coordinating logistics, managing communications, tracking participation, and assisting in the planning and execution of events and activities related to these programs
Requirements:
- Degree/Professional Qualifications in the discipline of Data Science/Business Analytics/Social Sciences or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant social research and evaluation experiences
- Possess strategic and analytical abilities
- Posesss good interpersonal skills to forge collaborative relationships across a wide spectrum of stakeholders
- Familiarity with analytics tools or programming languages are an advantage
- Able to communicate, write and present well
