The Service Team Leader (Stewarding) is responsible for supervising the Stewards and assists the Chief Steward in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Stewarding Department.
- Assist the manager in carrying out his function of efficiently administering and organizing the stewarding department.
- Lead and supervise a shift that includes inspecting kitchen areas, washing areas, and garbage disposal area.
- Ensure that there are enough supplies of chinaware, glassware, silverware and kitchen ware for daily usage.
- Establish par stock and supervise inventory taking of all chinaware, glassware, silverware and kitchen utensils.
- Investigate and report any breakages or theft.
- Report any hazards in the kitchen areas.
- Prepare the duty roster for all stewards.
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene in the kitchen areas.
- Liaise with pest specialist in solving pest problems in the Hotel.
We are looking for a self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should have the ability to adapt to ever changing requirements and needs of customers. If you have at least three years of stewarding experience, write in to have a chat with us!
