The Product Specialist will be responsible to achieve Sales & GP target set for businesses through:
1. Sales Development
- Establish sound understanding of market (customers, competition, new technology, etc.) and key trends
- Analyze, set clear objectives and develop strategies to drive market penetration and growth
- Actively identify market opportunities, potential customers and establish new accounts to expand business
- Ability to take on and assist to launch new product lines
2. Sales Maintenance
- Monitor sales performance (target, competition, accounts, etc.)
- Maintain close relationship and establish good rapport with customers
- Service existing contracts, tenders, quotations and other documentations
- Participate in sales forecasting, budgeting, and market data collection
- Work closely with operations team in inventory management
3. Product support
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and manage product trials including stand in for cases.
- Provide “Product Usage Guidance” and conduct product training to existing and new customers
- Manage and support exhibitions, trade shows and promotion program
- Learn and acquire strong knowledge of product features and benefits against competitors’ products
- Ability to take on and promote a wide range of products to support training and education across the medical division portfolio
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business or Science or related disciplines
- Prior sales experience in the Healthcare industry and/or Nursing will be an added advantage
- Demonstrate effective communications skills with positive working attitude
- Highly resourceful and ability to work independently
- Driven, a team player and possess strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in verbal and written communication
