JOB SCOPES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all civil and structural engineering activities for the project.
- Supervise and manage the work of engineers, draftmen, and other technical staff, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standards and within the specified timeframe.
- Review engineering designs and calculations to ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Oversee and manage the preparation of drawings, specifications, and other technical documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that all project objectives are met and that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that all work is completed within the specified budget and timeframe.
- Encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately to ensure site safety compliance.
- Any others duties as assigned by superior from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years experience in civil and structural engineering, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Lesser experience can be considered as Junior roles.
- Knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles and practices, as well as relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and technical staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
