About:
- Our clientis a leading infrastructure construction company, specializing in large-scale projects across sectors such as transportation, energy, and infrastructure. We are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Coordinator to join them for a MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) project, ensuring seamless coordination of architectural works.
Key Responsibilities
- This role shall be the main design coordinator for all Architecture disciplines.
- Efficient and effective architectural design coordination activities for the project to ensure that the design requirements of the contract are fulfilled.
- To Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers, M&E Engineers, and Subcontractors to resolve construction problems and issues to ensure timely and smooth progress of works by writing RFI and RFA.
- Compliance with legal and other requirements, including standards and codes of practice, relating to the design.
- Completion of design activities within budget and program to achieve project objectives and targets.
- Ensure risk reduction controls are in place for design activities.
- Adherence to the McConnell Dowell Integrated Management System and Project Execution Plan.
- Any other duties as may be required by the Company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Min. 3 years of experience as an Architectural Coordinator or similar role in large-scale infrastructure or MRT projects.
- Strong understanding of architectural design, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design and project management software.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with MRT or rail-related projects is highly advantageous.
