The role is responsible for managing general accounting, including cash, credit card, and bank reconciliations, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. This role ensures the accurate processing of invoices and expenses, manages local and overseas currency controls, and handles deposits. The Admin & Accounts Executive will be required to meet month-end closing deadlines by preparing journal entries, submitting GST returns, and generating monthly reports. Additionally, the role involves liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary. Administrative support tasks are also included.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform reconciliation of transactions
· Managing accounts payables and receivables tasks
· Process invoices and employee expenses/ commissions
· Ensure accuracy in data processing and currency controls
· Meet month-end closing deadlines and generate monthly reports
· Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary
· Handle government grant submissions and participate in audits
· Provide general administrative support
Requirements
· Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and any accounting software
· Experience in usage of XML Powersuite and IATA BSP Agency Portal preferred
· Relevant professional accounting qualification in a plus
· Able to work independently and is a team player
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Able to adapt to flexi / hybrid work arrangement
