The roles and responsibilities will include the following:
Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer, the Head of New Market will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business strategies in Singapore, Hong Kong, and other new potential markets.
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution for Endowus' entry into new potential markets.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to drive business growth in the region.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to inform decisions and initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and potential partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations, etc.) to localize Endowus offerings for the Hong Kong and other potential markets.
- Set clear performance metrics and lead the team to meet or exceed goals in client acquisition, revenue generation, and market penetration.
- Monitor market trends and competition to stay ahead in the financial advisory space.
- Represent Endowus at industry events, conferences, and in media as the face of the Hong Kong market.
- Build and manage a high-performing team to support the business's expansion in potential new markets
Requirements & qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or leadership roles, preferably in the fintech, wealth management, or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of the financial services landscape in Hong Kong, including regulations and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of successfully launching or expanding a business in a new market.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing partnerships with regulatory bodies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese/Mandarin (preferred).
