Working hours: 9am to 6pm
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and expand bulk non-ferrous metals trading activities, including the import and export of copper, zinc, lead, aluminium, nickel, and tin.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers, ensuring smooth contract negotiations and execution.
- Monitor and assess market conditions and trading risks, providing timely updates and trade information to management.
- Regularly report on transactions, financial performance, and profitability, while managing daily trading activities.
- Develop and implement policies, business plans, and budgets for metal trading to achieve the company’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers, processors, shippers, and financial institutions to gather and analyze market information.
- Stay updated on global market trends and proactively respond to changes in international economic and political conditions.
- Forecast market trends and explore opportunities in strategic alliances, investments, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Ensure efficient operation of support systems, including trading, documentation, finance, and coordination, for smooth business processes.
- Maintain risk control and ensure business stability in line with management's guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with credit risk management policies.
Requirements:
- A recognized degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bulk non-ferrous metals trading, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of global metal supply chains, consumption trends, and market dynamics.
- Understanding of production, processing methods, logistics, and port operations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
