As a Senior Principal within Infosys Consulting, you will pursue and grow deep client relationships, operating at the executive and senior management levels. You will also provide leadership on our most critical engagements, working closely with diverse Infosys and client teams to drive successful outcomes. Context
Banking and Financial Services is a key strategic vertical for Infosys Consulting. This role is primarily focussed on assisting a major client deliver value to their customers within the context of their new operating model and regulatory changes as a result of ‘Open Banking’ and in the future the Royal Commision.
Role summary
- Lead complex engagements; collaborates with others to identify, sell and deliver consulting projects dealing with strategies and plans for strategic transformation.
- Develop diagnostics, strategies, road maps and business cases in the financial domain area such as technology-enabled transformations, regulatory compliances, banking E2E business flows as well as digital enablement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, network extensively with industry experts and forums and contribute to the firm building through recruitment, mentoring, training and Intellectual Property generation (issuing POV’s, Whitepapers etc.)
Measures of success
- Lead consulting engagements; realising benefits and meeting agreed time, budgetary and quality measures.
- Achievement of revenue contribution and utilisation targets.
- Thought leadership, Practice and capability development.
Capabilities, experience and approach
- Deep Banking experience; including digital banking and emerging technologies. FinTech experience is highly regarded.
- Experience in Data and Analytics, AI/ML is highly regarded.
- Ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders (i.e. MDs, Director, GM) and be recognised as an Industry Thought Leader; ability to build trust to help customers determine and deliver inline with their strategic priorities.
- Capabilities aligned to our ‘C-level Advisory’ (Strategy and Architecture).
- IT Advisory experience e.g. developing IT Strategy, Technology Plans and Frameworks to optimise IT Landscapes and assets to achieve business goals
- Experience on alignment of Business visions, Architecture and plans towards the measurable business outcomes / deliveries
- Business improvement capability: provide a holistic view across client’s business strategies, information requirements, processes, organisation and technology to help them create, validate and execute their business plans.
- Help clients embed innovation into their business model by conceiving and delivering digital innovations and solutions

- Tertiary qualifications in a related field. MBA preferred.
