Job Objectives

Developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) templates and scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Playbooks. This allows infrastructure components to be defined, deployed, and managed programmatically. This role requires a strong technical background, familiarity with infrastructure technologies, and expertise in automation tools and scripting languages.

Key responsibilities:

 Must have hands on experience of system administration for Linux(RHEL) and Windows.

 Must have in depth knowledge in coding using chef cook books (Ruby, Shell, PowerShell)for configuration management.

 Must have Experience in developing code using Terraform (HCL) configuration language for IP assignment and VM creation.

 Must have Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management processes using Ansible, Terraform and Chef cookbook

 Building a CI/CD pipeline for automating the provisioning and management of infrastructure components with Terraform and Chef Cookbooks.

 Creating, modifying, and deleting Virtual Machines using Harshicorp configuration code and APIs, ensuring seamless operations of CI/CD pipelines.

 Maintain and enhance Linux and Windows image creation.

 Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as developers, operations, Network and security, to ensure the infrastructure aligns with application requirements and organizational policies.

 Continuously optimizing and improving the efficiency and reliability of the infrastructure through automation, scripting, and the adoption of best practices.

 Conducts in depth evaluations, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving a wide variety of complex technical issues.

 Exhibits strong initiative, Flexible, agile approach to collaboration and development

Key Skills :

1. Programming Lang: Ruby script and Terraform HCL coding knowledge

2. Scripting Lang: PowerShell, Yaml, Json, shell script

3. Configuration management: Chef, Ansible, Terraform

4. Devops Tools:Jenkins, Bit Bucket, JIRA, CI/CD

5. Operating Systems: Red Hat, Windows

6. Proven record of accomplishment of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals.
